I have a great recommendation, tried and true for several years now. The only drawback is that you have to apply it like a cream, with your fingers. All it takes is washing your hands afterward, though, no big deal. It's this one: Soapwalla Deodorant Creme. It's $14 for a container of it, but it lasts me for months. Also, there's a $5 shipping charge when you buy direct from Soapwalla. It is also sold directly on Amazon for $18, which is makes it a tiny bit cheaper if you have free Prime shipping. If you're ordering more than one, it looks like Amazon is definitely the way to go, since there doesn't seem to be much of a deal on shipping when you buy more than one directly at Soapwalla. I recommend waiting for a cooler month to order this, so it won't arrive in liquid state. But if it does, there are instructions on the website about what to do to fix that. I keep it in the fridge until I open the container, then keep in at room temp in the bathroom.
Although I haven't tried it yet myself, I've also heard great things about Schmidt's, too, and plan to try that one soon. It comes in five different scents (one is fragrance-free). This company also offers a travel-size sampler, if you buy it directly from them at Etsy. So you can try each one and then invest in a larger container of your favorite scent.
