@monikakriley I'm sending you my positive vibes for a good move next weekend! Moving is so stressful, but you'll do just fine, I know it. Also, don't feel bad about having been unable to pack your lunch today. I think we have to go easy on ourselves as we start to tackle our new goals. Every step forward is great, but it doesn't mean you should feel bad if you miss a step here and there.
So, my first day of my new position is tomorrow. I'm scared! I will be encountering a lot of new things, especially in the first few weeks, but really over several months. I hope I can master the new things I have to learn and do. Just thought I'd vent a tiny amount!
B: oatmeal w/flaxseed, green tea
L: sweet potato with a bit of margarine, two pieces of seitan bacon, apple
S: two cookies
D: soba noodle vegetable soup, avocado sushi, apple
Dessert: oatmeal w/agave and blueberries
W/O: 3-mile run, 2-mile walk, some arm weights (not a lot--still getting back into it and it's really hard; wish I hadn't avoided it for so long)
I don't feel too bad about how today went. I hope I won't feel munchy later this evening. If I do and I MUST have something, I have pretty limited options because I have no more cookies (this is a good thing) and no more apples (this is a bad thing). I could have air-popped popcorn, fig bar, or hot chocolate (the good, rich, vegan kind).
How is everyone doing?? I'm so, so glad to have this amazing group. Today I almost didn't work out because I was just feeling lazy and nervous about starting tomorrow, but I thought about how good it would feel to report back that I'd done my workout (and also how good I'd feel physically after the workout), and I went!
